Kadapt Creator

Turn any topic into an explainer video.

Research, script, voice and animation in one workspace. You review, we build. Pay in credits, only for what you approve.

Creator is in limited early access. Only accounts with access enabled can use it.

Start with a topic or paste your own script. Review the credit quote before approving your video.

• Sourced, fact-checked scripts. We research with sources and fact-check the script. You read it and approve it before anything is built.
• A friendly animated host. Hand-drawn charts and props that match the narration.
• You approve every step. Nothing is spent until you say so.

Made with Creator

Short examples in the hand-drawn style, written, voiced and drawn by Creator. Choose a target of 3, 5, 8, 12 or 15 minutes; a shorter pasted script can produce a shorter video. The examples have English narration, with English captions and Spanish subtitle translations.

How it works

1. Start a project. Give it a topic or question and a target length, about 3 to 15 minutes.
2. Review the script. We research, outline, write and fact-check. You read it and tick the few figures that need a human eye.
3. Generate the voice. Your voiceover is generated after you approve the script.
4. Watch it come together. Visuals arrive in roughly one-minute pieces, each with a preview.
5. Download. Download the finished video when it is done.

Pricing

You pay in credits (the same credits as Kadapt photo reels; Starter is $14.99/month for 200 monthly credits). If you ask Kadapt to research a topic, the research price is shown and charged when you tap “Write my script”. After reviewing the script, you see a separate quote for the video work before approving it.

• Research and script: 6 credits per started minute of video, only if we research your topic. Charged when you start writing the script; refunded if that step fails.
• Planning: 18 credits per video.
• Narration: about 0.3 credits per scene.
• Drawing: 4 credits per started minute of video (a 61-second video counts as 2). Credits for unused drawing are returned if it fails.
• Hooks and thumbnails (optional): 1 credit for a set of 5 hooks, 3 credits for a set of 3 thumbnails.

The planner offers 3, 5, 8, 12 or 15-minute targets. Your video quote is a maximum: the drawing reserve is based on your selected target, even if your own script is shorter. You need the full quoted balance to start. The final drawing charge can be lower for a shorter finished video. Research and script writing, when requested, are charged separately before the video quote.

Who it is for

Creators and small teams who want faceless explainers without an editor or animator: YouTubers, newsletter writers turning an article into a video, educators, and founders explaining their product.

You always get the last look. Some figures cannot be checked by machine, so you confirm the facts before you publish.
