Comparison
Kadapt vs. doing it yourself
Post a different reel from one listing every day — generative motion with the hook, caption, and fair-housing check done, in minutes instead of an evening in the timeline.
Updated July 2026
Canva and CapCut hand you a blank timeline and an hour of work per reel. Kadapt hands you finished reels: upload your photos once, then regenerate a fresh cut from the same listing any day you like — new hook, new motion, new caption — in a couple of minutes, with the fair-housing check built in. From $49/mo.
What you get with Kadapt that DIY doesn’t
One listing, a month of reels — without re-editing
In Canva or CapCut, every variation is another 30–60 minutes on the timeline. In Kadapt you tweak the plan and regenerate — a different reel from the same photos in minutes, a new version every day if you want to. That’s how one listing turns into weeks of posts without eating your evenings.
A higher motion ceiling
Templates give you transitions and pan-and-zoom over stills. Kadapt generates real camera motion, which reads as video — and motion consistently out-reaches static slideshows on social feeds.
The thinking, not just the tool
Canva hands you a canvas; you still supply the hook, the script, the caption, and the compliance check. Kadapt supplies all of that, screens the caption for fair-housing language, and keeps your brand consistent reel to reel.
No skill gate
DIY quality tracks your editing taste. Kadapt’s floor is the same whether or not you’ve ever opened a timeline.

When Canva & CapCut are the better pick
If you enjoy editing, have the time, and want total control over every frame, DIY is hard to beat on price. CapCut’s real-estate template library is huge and free, Canva Pro is about $15 a month, and both are flexible for one-off graphics and carousels Kadapt doesn’t try to do. For an agent who likes the craft and lists occasionally, that’s a perfectly good setup.
Common questions
Can’t I just use a free CapCut real estate template?
You can, and many agents do. The trade is time and a slideshow ceiling: templates apply transitions and pan-and-zoom, and each reel still takes 30–60 minutes plus your own captions. Kadapt generates the motion, writes the caption, and lets you regenerate variations in minutes.
Is Kadapt worth it if I only post occasionally?
If you post a couple of reels a month and enjoy editing, DIY may be enough. The math tips toward Kadapt the moment you want to post consistently — especially several reels per listing — without spending an hour each time.
