What to put on a just listed or just sold post
A just listed or just sold post is read in a second while someone scrolls or checks their mail, so it carries a few facts and one photo: the address or neighbourhood, the price if you show it, beds, baths and square footage, and your name, brokerage and phone number. Add one short line about the property and stop there. The same facts then work on a square social post and on a postcard.
Just listed or just sold
Use Just Listed when a home comes on the market and Just Sold when a sale has closed. For a sold home, think about what you are allowed to show. Some states and brokerages restrict advertising a sold price, and the seller may prefer privacy, so the price is optional and you can use the neighbourhood instead of the street address. Check your own rules or ask your broker.
Saving the image and printing the postcard
- The image downloads as a 1080 × 1080 pixel PNG, made on your device.
- The postcard is 6 × 4 in. Print it on card stock at 100% scale, or choose A4 or US Letter to print it centred with a cut guide.
- Use a photo at least 1,200 pixels wide. Smaller photos look soft on the image and the card.
- The QR code saves your contact card, with the property facts in the note. Scan a printed test before you print a stack.
A fair-housing note
Describe the property, not the people who might live there. “Four bedrooms and a fenced garden” is safe; “perfect for a young family” is not. Stick to facts, and leave out claims about results, such as how quickly a home sold or how it compared with the asking price, unless you can document them. Paste your line into the fair housing copy checker first, and check whether your broker requires an Equal Housing logo on printed ads.

Common questions
Is the just listed and just sold maker really free?
Yes. There is no signup and no watermark. The square image and the postcard are both built in your browser.
Are my photos uploaded anywhere?
No. The photo and logo you add are read by your own browser to draw the image and the postcard. They are not sent to Kadapt or stored, and the PNG is created on your device.
Can I show the sold price?
The price is optional on a Just Sold design, so you can leave it out. Some states and brokerages restrict or prohibit advertising a sold price, and some require a disclosure. Check your own rules or ask your broker before you publish one.
What size is the image, and what size is the postcard?
The image is a 1080 × 1080 pixel PNG, the square size Instagram and Facebook feeds display well. The postcard is 6 × 4 inches. You can print it at that size on card stock, or centred on A4 or US Letter paper with cut guides.
What should I use as the address?
Use the street address if the listing is public and your seller is happy with it. If privacy matters, for example for a sold home, use the neighbourhood or street name instead. The tool prints exactly what you type.
