Showing feedback form

A one-page form to send a buyer agent after a showing: ratings for price, condition, layout and location, a next step, comments, and your contact details to send it back to. Your branding and the listing address go on it; questions stay about the property. Nothing you type is sent or stored.

Why send a feedback form after showings

Sellers want to know what buyers thought, and a short form is easier for a busy buyer agent to return than a phone call. A few consistent ratings across showings also show you and your seller whether the same thing keeps coming up, such as price or condition, rather than relying on whoever happened to reply.

What the form asks

  • Ratings: price, condition, layout and location, each 1 to 5. Switch off any you do not want.
  • Next step: whether an offer, a second showing or neither is likely.
  • Comments: what stood out about the property, what held back interest, and anything else about the home.
  • Where to send it: your phone and email, and an optional date to return it by.

A note on fair housing

The form asks about the property only. It has no questions about the buyer’s family, background, or who the home would “suit”, and none of the ratings or next-step options invite that. Keep it that way if you add your own wording: comments such as who would like the neighbourhood or what kind of household the home is right for can steer, and are best left off. This is a practical guide, not legal advice; fair housing rules and brokerage policy differ by place, so check your own. The fair housing checker can review wording you plan to use.

Using it

  1. Fill in the listing address and your contact details.
  2. Choose the ratings and next steps to include, and how many comment lines.
  3. Print it or save a PDF and send it to the buyer agent after the showing.
  4. Share what you hear with your seller, as ratings and comments about the property rather than the buyer.

Common questions

Is the showing feedback form really free?

Yes. There is no signup and no watermark. The form is built in your browser and you can print it or save it as a PDF through the print dialog.

Does Kadapt see what I type?

No. The address, your contact details and the options you choose are used only to draw the form on your own screen. Nothing is sent to Kadapt, stored, or used in analytics. The only thing counted is that someone pressed print, never what was on the form.

How do I use it?

Fill in the listing address and your details, choose which ratings and next steps to include, then print it or save a PDF. Send or hand the form to the buyer agent after the showing. They fill it in by hand and send it back to the contact details at the bottom. The printed circles and boxes are for them to mark.

Why is there no question about the buyer?

On purpose. Feedback about a showing should be about the property: price, condition, layout, location and what happens next. The form has no field for the buyer’s name, family, background or who the home would suit, and it asks nothing that would invite a comment about a protected class. Keeping it property-only protects you, your seller and the buyer.

Is the form fair housing compliant?

It is designed to stay on the property and away from the people, but this page is not legal advice and cannot promise compliance. Fair housing rules and brokerage policies differ by place, so check your own. If you add free-text questions of your own, keep them about the home. The free fair housing checker on this site can help you review wording.

Can I add my own rating questions?

Not on this page. The ratings are fixed to price, condition, layout and location so the form stays property-only, and you can switch any of them off. You can write extra prompts on the printed copy if you need them.

What do the 1 to 5 circles mean?

The form says 1 is low and 5 is high. A buyer agent circles one number per row. For price, a higher number can mean it felt better value; the comments box is where the detail goes, so ask for a reason alongside any very low or very high score.
