How the order is chosen
The planner starts with the photo types a buyer cares about most, then orders them the way a visitor walks through the property.
- Hook first: the photo you pick opens the reel.
- Main rooms next: entry, living room, kitchen and dining.
- Private spaces: primary bedroom and bath, then other bedrooms and baths.
- Outdoor and extras: yard, deck or pool, and amenities such as a garage.
- Close on the exterior: a twilight or wide exterior shot is the last frame when there is room for it.
With fewer photos the planner drops the lower-priority types first. With more it adds details, a second bedroom and amenities.
How seconds are set
The reel length is shared across the photos in half-second steps. Every photo gets at least 2 seconds, so a reel can only hold as many photos as its length allows: 15 seconds fits seven, 20 seconds ten and 30 seconds fifteen. Any spare half seconds go to the hook photo and the closing photo first.
Using it
- Pick the number of photos you have and the reel length.
- Choose the hook photo that best shows this property.
- Copy the list and match your photos to it, or leave out types you do not have.
- Upload the photos in that order. Kadapt turns them into a vertical reel.

Common questions
Is the reel shot order planner really free?
Yes. There is no signup and nothing to download. You choose a photo count and a reel length and get a suggested order with seconds per photo that you can copy.
Why is there a limit on how many photos fit?
Each photo needs at least 2 seconds on screen to be seen. A 15 second reel therefore fits seven photos, a 20 second reel ten, and a 30 second reel fifteen. If you pick more photos than fit, the planner lowers the count and says so.
Why does the order start with a hook photo?
In a short vertical reel the first frame is the one a viewer sees before deciding whether to keep watching, so the planner puts your strongest photo first. You choose which one: the front exterior, the kitchen, a standout feature or the outdoor space.
Is this order proven to get more views?
No. It is a sensible starting sequence that follows how someone would walk through the property: hook, main rooms, bedrooms and baths, outdoor space, then a closing exterior. Try it, look at your own results and change it.
Is anything I choose sent or stored?
No. The page runs entirely in your browser. Nothing is uploaded, saved or tracked, and reloading the page resets it.
Can Kadapt build the reel from my photos?
Yes. Kadapt turns listing photos into vertical reels, with a minimum of 2 seconds per photo in Photo Reel mode. This planner is a free way to decide the order and timing before you upload.
